Every once in a while, when ordering food on delivery applications, you may receive the wrong order. But, there are always ways to rectify this problem through the application itself.

One Malaysian man has now become the target of netizens’ outrage for the way he handled himself after he received the wrong food items in his delivery.

The Abudi Alsagoff Twitter page recently shared a video taken by the man himself, as he decided to drive his Mercedes all the way to the restaurant he had ordered delivery from and confront the staff there for sending the wrong food items to him.

We know that he drives a Mercedes because he also decided to tell the staff that. On top of this, he also insisted that they pay for his petrol and toll charges for his journey.

Abudi Alsagoff wrote, “Do you think the staff there are wondering (what you drive)?”

In the video, the man could be seen walking towards the restaurant he ordered from with the food he was delivered.

Upon entering the restaurant, he told the staff that he would like to speak to their manager and was told that the manager was out.

“Why are they out?” he asked the staff and informed them again that he would like to see their manager.

“What food did you send to me?” he went on, adding that he drove 7km to come to the restaurant, “What did I order?”

He had ordered Nasi Kunyit with Curry Chicken but had received Hainan Chicken Rice instead.

“You change now. And pay (for) my petrol, pay (for) my Touch ‘n Go”, he told the staff while berating them about messing up his order.

The kicker then came when he felt the need to tell the staff what car he had driven to the restaurant.

“I drove my Mercedes to here, I put my Touch ‘n Go and petrol, to change my food eh? No, I want to see your manager,” he said.

In the end, he didn’t get to meet their manager but was given RM20 in compensation and had his order fixed.

Many felt that the man’s actions (as well as his mention of his Mercedes) was extremely unnecessary.

“Is it mandatory to mention what car you drive when you want to make a complaint?”

Mercedes 3

“Things can be settled properly, but you want to go to the restaurant and make noise. The thing I cannot take is that he had to mention his Mercedes despite his English being horrible.”

Mercedes 2

“It’s only a wrong order. Just make a report through the application. Or does he not know how to make a report using the application and was FORCED to drive a Mercedes to the restaurant?”

Mercedes 1

“Lol, just report on Grab and they’ll provide a full refund. There’s no need to drive your Mercedes.”
