After a 2 year hiatus, nightclubs have finally reopened their doors and as expected, nightlife lovers have swarmed them to have the time of their lives.

Local model Gatita Yan was one of the people who recently visited a nightclub in the Klang Valley, however, it was not her presence which caught the people’s attention.

In her Instagram story that has since expired, Gatita shared a clip of her going clubbing with a man who “generously” gave away RM100,000!

He did so by putting RM50 banknotes into a red-coloured Supreme money gun and shot the money out whilst the crowds watched and cheered him on.

However, the ‘money giveaway’ did not stop there. A moment later, Gatita was seen joining the man by trying her shot on the money gun. Despite the amount of money being ‘splurged’, the man did not seem to be bothered by it.

According to a report by China Press, the man who gave away the money is a cryptocurrency entrepreneur and a luxury watch dealer. Gatita also revealed that she hopes that the public will not criticise the man.

Use the money for a better cause

Despite Gatita’s wish, it seems that Malaysians were dissatisfied at how the money was given away. They expressed their disgust on how the money was handled on social media.

“If you’re really capable, might as well send some of the money to the old folks’ homes. That will help the people,” said a user.

“If this is how you handle your money, then it’s not something that should be preached at all.”

“What he did isn’t illegal. If his mindset tells him that cash is king and he can escape justice should he breaks the law, then it’s scary.”

Some people choose to invest their money for a better future, while some opt to use the money to buy necessary items or indulge themselves in luxury once in a blue moon.
