Liver failure is a serious illness that could happen to everyone. Unfortunately with liver failure, it’s symptoms are hard to detect during early stages as it’s usually similar to other medical conditions.

That being said, liver transplants are often difficult to be carried out as it would require a healthy functioning liver with the same blood type. Just over 23 hours ago, a Malaysian mum shared a post on behalf of her daughter on Instagram.

In the post, she mentioned that her 22-year-old daughter (Angeline) is diagnosed with liver failure. Unfortunately for Angeline, her liver failure has caused her kidneys as well to show symptoms of failure and is now currently in a coma.

Prior to this, her mother shared to China Press that when she was a teenager, she had an ovarian cyst and was removed through surgery. Unfortunately, the cyst came back, and it caused her to have really painful period cramps.

Due to extreme pain that she has to endure, she would often consume painkillers and sometimes she would even take 20-30 pills a day. As she takes the painkillers regularly as well as other supplements, it is possible that her body couldn’t take it.

In order for her to live on, Angeline would require a liver transplant. She is currently in Hospital Selayang, and her parents are actively looking for organ donors. In order to donate a suitable liver to her, they require:

  • O+ blood type
  • Under 50 years old
