Now, it’s no secret that people don’t like waiting in line, especially if the line is super long.

But what happens when another counter opens up but for some reason are only catering to specific people?

Malaysian actor Raja Shah Rezza took to his Instagram account to recount how the staff at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) were allegedly only allowing for foreigners to jump the queue into the empty Business Class line.

He wrote, “Tonight, at Row K at KLIA, I was queuing up at the Economy Class counter. When the Business Class counter was free, the foreigner in front of me was asked to go over to check in and I remained for a long time in my queue even though the second Business Class check-in counter was free.”

“When I finally got to check-in, I saw the lady officer ushering 2 foreigners behind me to go over to the Business Class check-in counter, and when they finished, another 2 foreigners were also directed to the Business Class counter.”

He questioned why only foreigners were selected to skip the queue, especially considering the staff could have easily directed people to free counters based on who was next in line.

“However, the locals after them were not directed to the Business Class counter even when it was free. I felt very disturbed with what looked like a display of double standard although I may be wrong,”

“I would appreciate an explanation because seeing 5 privileged foreigners against us locals is not right for me. Thank you and by the way, Ms. (censored) who was on duty couldn’t be bothered to explain professionally when I asked about this,” he added.

After all, it is only fair that the staff usher those waiting in the queue to open counters based on who is next in line.

We genuinely hope that the staff at our airports treat everyone fairly and only provide special treatment to customers who really need it.
