Malaysians have a horrible habit of leaving their trash anywhere they please, even if the space isn’t a designated rubbish collection spot. Despite cleaning efforts by the authorities, rubbish will still end up there thanks to irresponsible individuals.

Well, now, it looks like someone is doing something effective about it.

UMNO Youth Chief and Merlimau Assemblyperson, Dr Muhamad Akmal Salleh, took to his Facebook page to showcase how he went through plastic bundles of rubbish thrown recklessly to find the identity of the perpetrator, stating that action will be taken against them.

He wrote, “We cleaned (this place) up in the morning, took away the little trash bin but people are still stubborn and irresponsibly throwing rubbish like they have zero awareness.”

“Alright, if you challenge me, I can become crazier than your imagination. Just wait, I will find you guys who have no sense of responsibility.”

In Dr Muhamad Akmal’s video, he could be seen opening up and rummaging through plastic bags of rubbish in an effort to find its owner.

He had previously removed the trash clump that had been there in the morning but by nightfall, there was a new pile.

Upon inspection of the rubbish, the politician found the identity of one of the people responsible for the rubbish dumped, after finding a receipt, and vowed it return it to her.
