Graduation ceremonies are probably one of the best parts of finally finishing university and school. But with the current pandemic still not subsiding, many of us can’t attend our own graduations and have to opt for our certificates coming in the mail instead.

In times like these, we need to get creative and celebrate ourselves. So, that’s exactly what Twitter user @kumitatataaa did!

Just yesterday (7 January), Kumita took to Twitter to share a wholesome interaction she had when she received her degree certificate in the mail.

“I received my degree cert from this really cool abang yesterday, so we took a photo la… Today he came by my house just to get my number cause he wanted the photo too,” she writes in her tweet.

Speaking with WORLD OF BUZZ, she explained that because her convocation was cancelled, she decided to make a mini one with the delivery guy.

“He was sending my graduation cert and I was just really excited to receive it. We didn’t have our [convocation], so I made like my own private convocation and he’s supposed to be the chancellor,” she told us.

“The delivery guy was so sporting. It was late in the evening, he seemed tired but he still wanted to take more pictures!”

Here’s to all the students who never received their convocation due to Covid. Congrats and all the best for your future endeavours!
