KKM Update: 1,240 New Cases, 691 Recoveries & 7 Deaths (26 Oct)

Based on the Covid-19 update from the Ministry of Health Malaysia, there are 1240 new cases as of today (26 October), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 27,805. From those numbers, a total of 17,825 patients have recovered and been discharged, including today’s 691 patients.

However, there are seven reported deaths today, bringing the number of casualties at 236.  1238 are local cases while the other 2 are imported.

There’s been an alarming increase in the number of positive cases of late. This means that we should tread lightly, be more careful and adhere to the standard operating procedures set in place.
