When you’re enduring times of trouble, you can always count on Malaysians to be there to help.

This was the case for a man who barely had enough money to eat after his boss had allegedly held his salary from him.

Abdul Haris Harahap took to his TikTok account to share how he had treated the man to a meal after the man had approached him.

Treat 1

He wrote in his TikTok, “When I wanted to pay for my food, a servant of Allah asked me ‘brother, can you please treat me to a meal, I just lost my job‘.”

“I thought he was asking for money, I said sorry as he was physically healthy. After that he left, but when I thought back, he wasn’t asking for money, he was asking for food which means he was really hungry.”

So, Abdul Haris went looking for the man to treat him to a meal.

Treat 2

“I immediately went after him, I saw him sitting and sleeping, to hold in his hunger, at a table at the Pavilion food court. I immediately called him and invited him for a meal,” he added.

Abdul Haris explained that the man even lost his home as he couldn’t pay rent due to his boss, who is allegedly holding his salary.

Treat 3

“He even wanted to borrow from an Ah Long, I told him don’t go to that level, we can always build back our lives. Never give up. May Allah ease your burdens and get you a job as fast as possible.”
