Even those who are incarcerated have family members who miss them and wish they could spend time with them.

With that being said, what would you do if you were a prison officer having to watch a young girl hugging her father though the bars of a jail cell?

The Pojoksatuk.id TikTok page recently shared a video of an Indonesian officer, who upon witnessing a little girl cuddling with her father through the bars of a cell, decided to open the cell to allow them to reunite properly.

“‘Because he wanted to hug his child, I finally opened the cell door for a moment”, said a prison official at one of the prisons in Jambi (Indonesia).

Jail 3

In the video, the little girl and her father could be seen hugging through the prison cell bars. She even tried to kiss his cheek through the gaps of the bars.

Upon seeing the touching scene, the officer then unlocked and opened the cell to allow the father to properly hold his daughter in a heartwarming reunion. SO SWEET!

Jail 4

We genuinely hope that the father quickly serves his sentence and learns from whatever mistake he made so that he can return home to the adorable little girl.
