Just over an hour ago, Air Selangor released a statement saying that a water disruption may affect 397 areas in Kl, Selangor and Hulu Langat today (Aug 11) at around 10am.

The Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant has been temporarily shut down since 4:30am today (Aug 11).

This disruption is likely to happen due to a chemical pollution at the Semantan River, Pahang that was caused by an accident at KM75.9 on the Karak-Bentong Highway towards Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
