After the recent Melaka and Sarawak State Elections, it seems that yet another state will be dissolving its State Legislative Assembly (DUN) to pave way for fresh State Elections. As reported by Astro Awani, it is coming more and more likely that Johor will hold a State Election soon with the UMNO-led government pursuing to dissolve the State DUN with Menteri besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad currently granted audience with the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim to get His Majesty’s consent for such a move.

Earlier today, Hasni shared how Johor UMNO has reached a consensus regarding the matter with the Menteri Besar receiving approval to hold the state elections by the party. Hasni further asserted,

“I will be having a press conference at 6pm. But first I have to meet with the state’s executive committee and then I will be going to the palace where I have been granted an audience with Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar,”
