Depression is no joke. We have witnessed the rise of depression-related suicide cases and unwanted incidents lately. What’s more worrying is that depression is a silent killer and sometimes even those who are suffering from it are clueless about their mental health condition.

For those who feel that you might be depressed, anxious, stressed or even just curious about your mental health, there is a Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS) Test available online at the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam Negeri Sabah official website.

Keep in mind that it doesn’t replace professional medical advice. Instead, it is meant to guide you on your decision to seek a mental health care professional.

Take the test here.

Sharing one’s problems might still be a taboo habit for the majority of Malaysians but now is the best time to change this. More and more people are suffering from mental health issues. Let’s make it a habit to always check up on each other and open up to our friends about our problems.

But if you don’t have anyone to talk to or if you don’t want to find a mental health care professional yet, this test is the next best thing. We can be a mentally healthy society together!
