Never judge a book by its cover. Sometimes a thing may appear usual on the surface but there might be something else “behind” it.

That’s exactly the case for this good ol’ Proton Iswara. The appearance at the front may seem like nothing much, except with the added LED lights on the headlamp, but when the camera gets to the back, it’s a whole new level of modification!

Recently, a Twitter user shared an experience about car modification on his account. As stated in the caption, the Proton Iswara, which belongs to his dad has been modified by the father himself into a “pickup” vehicle.

“I present to you, the heavy art by my father. Since he has some crafting jobs, he took the liberty to modify his Proton Iswara. This will ease him in picking up his stuffs in the future.”

Project Pickup Iswara

WORLD OF BUZZ reached out to him and it is revealed that the modification works started early last month and ended recently. The process had taken his father about a month before the Iswara was changed into a pickup vehicle.

In fact, they even made a video, which they dubbed “Project Pickup Iswara” to capture the process and it has been uploaded onto his Youtube channel.

You can watch the full video of the modification works below.

We were wondering if the vehicle will ever “attract” the attention of JPJ, and in case you are wondering the same, he revealed that the pickup Iswara is only used to drive around the village and not meant to be used on the highways, or long journey.

The level of commitment and time taken in giving the Iswara a “makeover” is truly admirable! If you’re a fan of car modification, did this impress you?
