Known to be humble and warm, it is no surprise that His Royal Highness the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah is well-loved by Malaysians.

Recently, Malaysians found another reason to love the King when his funny and cute demeanour during a visit to Pulau Tioman stole the hearts of netizens.

In videos that have been widely circulating on social media, the King can be seen getting “pranked” by a man wearing a Naruto wig.

His Majesty was giving out green and yellow packets (presumably containing money) to the crowd when the man with the Naruto wig caught his eye.

“This is for you. Dye your hair back,” His Majesty joked, not knowing that the man’s silver-blonde hair is actually a wig.

When the man revealed that he didn’t actually dye his hair silver-blonde, the King laughed and exclaimed repeatedly, “I’ve been tricked” while “headpalming” himself.

All this while, Malaysians who were there to welcome the King also had a good laugh themselves as they witnessed the King’s easygoing and adorable interaction with Naruto man.

In the end, the King also posed for a photo with Naruto man.
