It’s no secret that small businesses are suffering throughout the pandemic, which is why it’s truly amazing to see how these businesses still come together to help each other out.

The VIRAL PERAK Facebook page recently took to their profile to showcase how the Ipoh Station Cafe had pre-purchased cendol from an aunty running a roadside stall for the general public, in an effort to help boost foot traffic for her stall.

They wrote on behalf of the Ipoh Station Cafe, “Whoever is interested in free cendol can visit this aunty’s stall. We have paid for it. Just come and eat, you can also opt to take away. Pity the aunty who is selling under the hot sun but no one stops. Support her.”

Ipoh Station Cafe also shared, “Alhamdulillah, if the amount we’ve paid for has finished, please support her by buying her cendol. It’s really delicious. We support small businesses.”

You’ll be able to find this aunty in front of the 99 Speedmart in Taman Shatin Baru, Ipoh, and she’s open until 6pm.

This is truly a sweet initiative by the cafe, which shows true support for their fellow comrades in business.

We genuinely hope that our friends in Ipoh will stop by and purchase the cendol from the aunty, as we wouldn’t know how badly they might need the business.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
