Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Selangor has shared that volunteers are no longer allowed in view of the SOPs set, and the number of donations received has decreased by 50% during the pandemic. Due to the lack of resources, SPCA is barely able to support their current sheltered animals, let alone taking in more.

On the other hand, we humans are also struggling to find peace of mind amid the chaos. We often forget to take care of ourselves, including our skin. Being stuck indoors means dealing with a lack of sun exposure and bad air circulation in air-conditioned and closed environments. This results in skin issues such as dull skin, acne or eczema.

SPCA’s Pet Care Education Programme aims to educate the public on responsible pet care and the proper handling of animals. The Medical Fund helps in paying for the medical treatments required by injured animals from their rescue operations.
