Batik designs have made a comeback in 2021 ever since Malaysian designers clapped back at the Dutch designer who said she wanted to see “Malays dressing beautifully again”. Malaysians everywhere are stepping forward to craft various batik inspired items such as earrings, masks, and headbands.

1. Darlin’

If you’re looking for some batik bucket hats, then Darlin’ is one of your best picks! They just released plenty of bucket hats with cool batik designs that you can consider giving as CNY or Valentine’s Day gifts to your loved ones. Besides that, they also sell bandeau tops, headbands, scrunchies, shoulder bags, and face masks in batik designs too!

 

Speaking to World of Buzz, the creators of Darlin’ said that they were actually two siblings who are currently operating the business from their house at Seremban. Nonetheless, they offer worldwide shipping which means that regardless of where you’re from, you can still order your batik pieces from them!

Norah’s Arc is a shop based in Kuala Lumpur, that makes many beautiful and unique homemade batik-inspired earrings. They launch new collection or series every Wednesday and Saturday of the week! But it’s not just batik earrings, they also have bangers and hairbands.

 

Norah’s Arc is all started by two friends who are very in love in earrings that they decided to make their own pairs of authentic and unique earrings. Just look at how beautiful these accessories are!
