Foreigner Stands Up Against Jocelyn Chia’s Remarks, Proudly Showcases the True Beauty of Malaysia

The recent stand-up comedian Jocelyn Chia has made comments about Malaysia, among others, about us being a third world country, causing a stir on social media.

However, in a powerful display of support, a foreigner named Alexey Brock took it upon himself to prove Jocelyn wrong. The TikTok video garnered 43.2K likes and counting!

In his TikTok video, Alexey Brock @alexey.brock questioned Chia’s claim, “Are you sure, Jocelyn Chia?” His confident tone left no room for doubt, challenging the stereotypes that have often plagued Malaysia’s reputation.

 

As the video rolls, he proudly walks through some iconic locations in Malaysia. The video begins with Brock strolling confidently in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the bustling capital city. Against the backdrop of the magnificent KLCC, with its iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

Moving on, the video showcases Brock’s visit to Istana Negara. Istana Negara in Malaysia stands as a majestic royal palace, embodying the grandeur and regal traditions of the country.

With its exquisite architecture, opulent interiors, and lush surrounding gardens, it is a symbol of Malaysia’s rich heritage and serves as a residence for the reigning monarch.

Continuing his journey, Brock walked through the vibrant and modern shopping destination, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Amongst the luxurious shops and trendy boutiques, he highlighted the city’s cosmopolitan and prosperous side.

The video concludes with Brock’s resounding statement, “I’m sure it is not”. These words echoed the sentiments of millions who have experienced Malaysia’s hospitality, natural wonders, and economic progress.
