Having to quarantine at a centre away from family is never an easy task, but nowadays, even children as young as five years old have to be whisked away to isolation due to Covid-19.

One little boy has captured the hearts of netizens after a video of him dancing with frontliners went viral on social media recently.

In the video, the little boy can be seen bopping along to some music together with two frontliners at the Covid-19 Low Risk Quarantine and Treatment Center (PKRC) in Melaka International Trade Center (MITC) Ayer Keroh.

One of the frontliners, who goes by the name Jo, later said on Twitter that she was the one holding the phone.

“Yes, it’s true. The one dancing in the plastic clothes is me. How come this can get on Twitter? ? ” she said.

She then uploaded the original video without the music.

Netizens couldn’t help themselves and expressed their adoration for the little boy and praised Jo for her efforts in keeping the boy entertained.

  • “Oloo comel. Thank you for entertaining the small boy. May Allah give you prolonged health.”
  • “This video made my day. Thank you to all the frontliners for all your sacrifices. May Allah bless you always and reward you as you deserved to be.”
  • “Aww, so cute! May you always will be protected from COVID-19. Take care! And thank you for spreading positive vibes during hard times!”
  • “The real heroes are those who are in PPE. Thank you”
  • “comelnyaaaaaaaa. thank you for working so hard, frontliners <3 Pleading face stay safe and dont forget to get some rest in between okay !!”

Some netizens asked Jo about the little boy’s parents, and she responded saying that his mother and two siblings were also at the quarantine centre while his dad had to be hospitalised.

As of now, Jo said that the boy, his siblings and his mother have been discharged. However, his father is still warded in the hospital.

Thank you Jo for all your hard work and for creating such precious moments like this!
