Can you imagine sipping on beverages only to find the footprints of cockroaches on your cup?

A reader recently (July 2018) reached out to WORLD OF BUZZ and told us that she saw cockroaches crawling on the drink counter in a western steakhouse believed to be located in Taman Kota Laksamana Jaya, Melaka. Oh no, not Melaka again!

We will not reveal the reader’s name as she has requested to remain anonymous. However, she did send four videos to us showing how the tiny yet creepy roaches were crawling on the counter and around the restaurant’s coffee machine and jug.

Here are the videos:

Needless to say, it’s extremely unhygienic for roaches to roam freely in a restaurant as this could cause food poisoning. Also, all the roaches in the videos appear to be small and not fully grown, which begs the question – where are these roaches coming from?

If the restaurant owner did nothing and allowed this situation to continue, it’s just a matter of time before things get worse and someone finds roaches in their food!

We sincerely hope the owner cleans up the premises and eradicates all the hiding spots of the cockroaches, before the Ministry of Health comes knocking on their door!
