Malaysia is known for its many malls, whether it’s in the capital city Kuala Lumpur or in other states. It’s no question that Malaysians love going to shopping malls, but do you know there are some things in Malaysian malls that foreigners find weird?

In a TikTok video posted by howyouseesstuff, presumably a British traveller, he names three things that he finds weird about Malaysian malls. “Lil stranger things esque mall vid ?,” the caption says.

The first thing that is weird to him is an ice-cream-only McDonald’s stall in the mall, followed by the ride-along train for kids, as well as the Toys R Us store.

Responding to the video, Malaysian netizens explain that the reason why there are ice-cream-only stalls, is because the weather in our country is very hot, and we love ice cream. As for Toys R Us, it used to be a large toy retail company, until it ceased operations in the UK and the US. Thus, it became a rare sight for the British traveller.
