BREAKING: LRT Accident Leaves Passengers Bloody, Injured & In Shock

Several images and videos have been going viral on social media where several passengers aboard the LRT Kelana Jaya are reportedly injured after an accident involving two trains. In a video posted by TV3, the passengers are seen lying on the floor with shattered glass and some of them were even bleeding.

In a statement by Rapid KL, they informed that the incident involved trains 40 and 81. They reassured that their team is mobilizing help and rescue assistance right now. The latest update is that all injured passengers have been evacuated to the platform.

“Emergency aid and rescue is ongoing. Our priority is to get all our passengers to safefy. Alternative transport arrangements will be provided.”

The cause of the accident remains unconfirmed. However, TV3 reports that the incident is believed to have occurred as a result of a sudden brake. Meanwhile, a few netizens have speculated that the incident took place as a result of a possible collision between the two trains.
