Kl Sentral Does Not Have Any Reported Coronavirus Cases, Says Authorities, Malakoff Building Still Up &Amp; Running - World Of Buzz

Recently, many Whatsapp groups and chain messages have been forwarding a warning message to caution everybody to be careful if they find themselves around the KL Sentral area as information was going around that “Malakoff building has been quarantined” because a maintenance worker in the east side building of KL Sentral tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

But if you’ve received this message, don’t panic. More importantly, don’t forward this to anyone else because this is fake news! According to Sin Chew Daily, it’s just been confirmed by Health director, Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, that this unverified information is false and the Malakov building has not been isolated.

The news report also added that a spokesman from Malakoff has dismissed this information, claiming, “this is fake news”.

KL Sentral is the hub of transit lines for public transportation and many citizens find this building an essential part of their daily commute.

So unless you receive your information from a verified news portal, don’t go around circulating this speculative fake news! You could get into serious trouble with authorities otherwise.
