What is your definition of the best part-time job? One that pays ridiculously high along with the easiest job scope?

Sounds like something that will only exist in our dreams. But recently, the dream has come true! No pun intended.

What exactly is the job? It is as simple as it sounds: Take naps.

In conjunction with the upcoming release of the anime film “Hirune Hime” (which the protagonist’s talent is taking naps), a contest has been going around Japan to find someone to literally sleep on the job.

And if you think the job is easy enough, wait till you hear about its pay!

Just by snoozing off to dreamland, you’ll be paid about RM1966 per day.

It also covers transportation cost from anywhere in Japan to designated theaters playing the film, and provides a pillow, eye mask, earplugs and snacks. You even get a pillow signed by all the members of the movie’s cast. It sounds as good as it could get already!

Hailed as the best part-time job in Japan, the person (obviously) needs no experience and qualification, which means anyone is eligible to apply. Unless you have a degree in sleepology then we all know who’s going to win here.

If you’re hired, you’ll be dressed up as the film’s robot ‘Heart’, greet and welcome guests, stand on stage with the cast, and pose for photographs. Maybe extra cookies if you can do the robot!

While the job requires no experience and is open to all ages and gender, it encourages contestants who ”are good at napping”, ”wants to dream” and those who have not been getting enough sleep to apply.

Sound like a job you’ll excel at? Then you may want to consider applying here!

This is not the first time we’ve heard about amazing jobs that pay handsomely.
