It has been more than a day since the landslide that robbed multiple lives happened at Father’s Organic Farm in Batang Kali, Pahang. Some victims made it out alive, while some did not. As for the victims who are yet to be found, the family members wait patiently in excruciating pain.

As for this 60-year-old man in Kepong, he has been out looking for his son who is part of the visitors at the campsite. He revealed that his son and daughter participated in the trip, and while his 31-year-old daughter has been rescued, his son is nowhere to be found.

Despite the uncertainties, he was told by others that his son was seen in one of the ambulances which were headed to the hospital, but he cannot be certain if they were actually describing his own son.

“Some people told me they saw the rescue team carrying my son onto the ambulance, but no one knew which hospital he was sent to,” he explained.

For that, he rushed to three different hospitals for confirmation – Selayang Hospital, Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital, and Sungai Buloh hospital. Unfortunately, his son has not been found and the whereabouts remain unknown, reported Sin Chew.

He admitted that his wait is accompanied by pain due to the uncertainties and the long waiting time as he has been looking for his son since 8 am yesterday (December 16).

In the meantime, as of last night, the death count was confirmed to be at 21, and 12 more people have yet to be found. The waiting game continues while the rescue team continues their efforts to look for the remaining victims. We hope for nothing but relieving news for the remaining victims, and hopefully, necessary actions will be taken on the responsible parties.
