Astro yesterday launched new TV packages for customers to access Netflix. This was done in conjunction with the integration of Netflix into its Ultra Box.
What does this mean for existing customers?
Existing customers who would also like to watch Netlix would have to switch from their current packages to the newly launched ones.
Besides Netflix, you’ll also be able to access Disney+ Hotstar and HBO Go.
Acting as a TV box, customers can now access Astro channels together with Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar and HBO Go apps under one roof.
Package pricing
The price of the Astro+Netflix package starts at a base price of RM129.99. Pricing will vary depending on the length of contract you sign up for.
If you would like 4k resolution for your awesome 4k TV, then you may opt for Netflix’s Premium Plan for an additional fee of RM9.43. You will be able to watch your favourite stuff at 4K resolution as well as HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos enhancements.
