They’re fast. They’re furious. They’re our nation’s hero on foot. The traffic police officers in our country truly amaze us with their talent for running.

Recently, Sarawak Edition shared a video on their TikTok page showing a traffic police officer chasing a perpetrator, just this time, in a Myvi!

Seems like lessons were learned from before.

“Thank God, a kind soul helped”

The video has caught over 70.4k of netizens’ attention and has garnered over 5k likes.

As seen in the video, the offender wearing a helmet walks along a highway looking back to see if he was still being chased. When he sees a Myvi signaling to stop at the side of the road, he assumed that the Myvi driver was going to offer him a lift.

Much to his agony, a traffic police officer jumps right out and runs after him. It appears that the cop managed to get a lift instead! They disappeared into the bushes. Cliffhanger much!

Watch the cat and mouse chase here:

Here’s what netizens think:

Myvi1

“Poor buddy, was not helped but kicked to the curb.”

Myvi2

“This ‘abang traffic’ looks familiar…oh no no…”

Myvi3

“Hahaha, was smart enough to run but the smarter one turned out to be the officer chasing him.”

Myvi6

“The exhaustion of running earlier hasn’t passed, and now he has to run again”, pitied a netizen.

Myvi7

“Tired of running so I’ll just hitch a ride first.”

All jokes aside, it’s never safe to be playing catch by the highway. And it’s never cool to disobey the law. Stay safe rakyat-rakyat sekalian!
