What do you do when you want to lodge a complaint and you have tried all avenues but no solution is reached?

For Mohd Al Iman Zakaria, the answer was to go on a rant and proceed to egg the responsible company. To be precise, he tried to get a solution to his problem with the telco company Digi but to no avail. In anger and frustration, he decided to go to Digi’s HQ in Subang Hi Tech and starts smashing eggs everywhere.

The incident was recorded on video and posted by Mohd Al Iman Zakaria on his Facebook profile. In the video, he takes a few eggs and throws it in Digi’s HQ while shouting out loud. The video goes mute a few seconds in so it’s unsure what the man had said.

In his post on Facebook, the enraged man tried lodging reports through Consumer Forum Malaysia (CFM) and Digi using all available methods but didn’t receive any satisfactory response. Having lost his patience, he decided that since Digi’s signature colour is yellow, he would match the colour by giving them egg yolks.

“This is my ONLY option. I’ve logged the report to the verified Digistore email, their Facebook page etc..

“Apologies everyone. When we lose our patience and nobody cares, this is the consequence. You can spot Digi’s yellow ads everywhere right? Now I’m giving them the yellow of the egg yolks.” he captions his post.

It seems that his method worked, because after the video went viral on social media, he updated his Facebook stating that the chief marketing officer, Low Jieh Kiat has agreed to meet him.

According to Mohd Al Iman Zakaria, his issue has now been settled amicably and they have fulfilled all his requests. As to what the issue was, both Mohd Al Iman Zakaria and Digi remains tight-lipped about it. Your guess is as good as mine!
