For as long as we can remember, man has always sought to find other intelligent forms of life besides mankind. Sightings of UFOs, alleged encounter of ETs, creation of crop circles and more fill the Internet as alleged evidence.

However, recently, videos capturing a saucer-shaped unidentified flying object (UFO) supposedly hovering over the rooftops of Kuala Krai, Kelantan has been circulating on the internet by an unnamed Malaysian blogger causing people to speculate if the sighting was a hoax.

In fact, one of the videos appeared to be a news coverage by local station TV1.

But according to Aussie Network News, Malaysian authorities aren’t too worried and have written off the incident as most likely fake. A police representative also revealed that no report of the incident has been lodged.

A website named Hoax Or Fact with the bold mission statement to filter the nonsense has done an examination of the videos and deemed them to be … (drumroll please) … a hoax!!

The website quoted Kuala Krai police chief Supt. Abdullah Roning that the videos “circulated by individuals who intentions were unknown.”

They also found the footage of the alleged UFO sighting over Kelantan to be taken from a Youtube clip posted back in August 2007, titled, ‘UFO sighting in Los Roques, Venezuela’. The site claimed that the video is a CGI manipulation where the “UFO” was framed out and added onto the Kelantan-view background.

Chances look slim that the videos are legitimate. Though this video was only a hoax, who knows what really lurks beyond our world.
