Yesterday (4 July 2018), Malaysians mourned over the tragic death of Adam Rayqal, who suffered internal bleeding and a cracked skull due to blunt force trauma. The infant was found stuffed inside the freezer compartment of a refrigerator in his babysitter’s house. Plain cruel!

After the incident, Adam’s mother wrote a heartfelt message on her Facebook to her son before his funeral, which was held today (5 July 2018).

She wrote,

“Adam, my love. It must have been cold inside the freezer. It’s alright, you will get many beautiful things when you are in heaven.”

“Remember my advice and take good care of yourself there. One day, Mama and Papa will join you, my love, and we will have bubble baths together again.”

That’s just heart-wrenching.

She also took the opportunity to thank all her friends, family and Malaysians for lending her a hand during the search for Adam. She then requested everyone to pray for him during this tough time.

As of now, the 33-year-old babysitter and her 36-year-old housemate have been detained because the infant’s death was classified as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code. Hopefully, the authorities will get to the bottom of this ASAP!

It’s really sad that poor Adam had to go through an unfortunate tragedy. Our deepest condolences and thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time. May justice be served for Adam.
