2. Led by the legendary Kevin Field
The cinematic concert experience of Across Galaxies & Kingdoms is being brought to life by the hands of the Tutan Festival Orchestra and the Malaysian Voices Collective, with renowned conductor Kevin Field leading the charge.
Field is known for his time with MPO in the early 2000s, helping shape the orchestra’s musical direction and build its presence for over a decade. He recently returned to the home stage of MPO, the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), for the TFO Masterworks Series, with the Tutan Festival Orchestra performing the classical works of Rachmaninov and Sibelius, and the official debut of an original composition (“Rimba II”) by Malaysian composer and pianist Ng Chong Lim.
