Some of the authorities have recently found themselves under fire for allegedly prioritising VIPs before making way for ambulances to pass through. Despite having their own clarifications, an abang polis has earned himself some praises recently for doing the opposite.

Kosmo Online has recently shared a dashcam footage of a driver showcasing an abang polis escorting a bus tour with fellow police officers inside. The incident took place on Jalan Tun Razak, KL on Wednesday (9 March). An ambulance was seen heading their way and the traffic police immediately signaled the other road users to make way for the incoming ambulance.

The owner of the dashcam video can be heard clapping for the act of the abang police who has clearly done the right thing.

According to the caption in the video, after urging the people to make way for the ambulance, the abang police immediately rushed to his motorcycle and escorted the ambulance to its destination.

Good job, PDRM!

It did not take long for the video to circulate on social media and his act has immediately gained approval and praise from netizens.

“I feel so proud! Good job. May Allah bless you wherever you are.”

“This is the right thing. You’ll never know if the patient inside the ambulance is struggling for his dear life.”

Does it need praise?

In the meantime, another netizen actually highlighted the necessity of praises as the abang polis was merely carrying out his responsibilities.

“Something like this has apparently become abnormal and receive praise when he actually doesn’t need it.”

The abang polis has certainly done the right thing by prioritising the ambulance but do you think his actions deemed it necessary for praises from netizens?
