Malaysia’s men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik ended their journey in the 2023 Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Championship in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The 2022 World Champions failed to defend their title, to South Korea’s Kang Min-hyuk and Seo Seung-jae 21-23, 13-21 in the semifinals.

Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik are the only Malaysian representatives to make it to the semi-finals of the World Championships this year.

Along with Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang from China who lost to Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup from Denmark, they will bring home the bronze medal.

Congratulations Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik for getting the bronze medal! Come back stronger next year!
