We’re glad that he did not suffer from any stomach “paint” after that!

According to a viral tweet that has garnered close to 180,000 retweets, a grandfather ate close to half a litre of paint because he thought it was yogurt.

In his defence, that does look like a bucket of very tasty yogurt!

The 90-year-old grandfather, Bobby, reportedly loves eating yogurt. His granddaughter, Alex Stein, shared with Daily Mail about how her mother would usually buy large amounts of yogurt each week, explaining why her grandfather mistakenly ate the paint. She said,

“My mum buys at least 7 quarts (6.6 litres) of vanilla Danon yogurt a week.”

“When I say he loves yogurt, he LIVES for yogurt.”

As the tweet went viral and Bobby’s fame started to rise, the 90-year-old grandfather decided to post on Instagram, sharing his thoughts about what had happened. He also shared in the post on how he doesn’t regret his decision and that it “honestly tastes better than yogurt”.

Many netizens who were smitten by Bobby’s adorable mistake, flooded the comments section with remarks of the incident. They also posted numerous speculations and witty puns on what flavor they thought the paint was.

As our grandparents grow older, many of them may start to lose their sense of judgement over time. We’re glad that Bobby is alright and hopefully this will be a reminder to keep an eye out on our grandparents in order to avoid any mishap.
