PTPTN Announces 3-Month Loan Deferment For Flood Victims

Taking to Twitter, the National Higher Education Fund or PTPTN, via the Ministry of Higher Education announced a three-month loan deferment for its borrowers.

According to a media statement by Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, affected borrowers can apply for a deferment beginning 28th December 2021.

“The affected borrowers can start to apply for the deferment from PTPTN starting from Dec 28, 2021 to March 31 next year.”

“Further details of the announcement will be made by PTPTN.”

“The deferment is in line with the government’s aspiration and commitment to help members of ‘Keluarga Malaysia’ during this challenging period.”

Let’s hope that this move will ease the burden of affected borrowers.
