Oh no!

Harian Metro reported that a man jumped from the 19th floor of Mutiara Bandar Perda condominium, Bukit Mertajam after his wife merajuk and left him. The incident took place at 8.30 pm; and the condo residents found the 46-year-old man lying dead with his skull cracked open at the motorcycle parking area.

Seberang Perai’s district chief police, assistant commissioner Nik Ros Azhan Nik Ab Hamid said that early investigation revealed that the man had an argument with his wife prior to jumping. Nik Ros was quoted as saying,

“A witness said that the man’s wife left the house with their 12-year-old child at around 2pm yesterday (4th September 2019) and her departure stressed him out.”

“The man wasn’t able to control his emotions and jumped off the window around six hours after his wife and child left.”

For further investigation, the police had to break open the man’s house door – which was locked – in order to get in. After they finished investigating in the man’s house, police concluded that there was no criminal motive in the case.

Nik Ros added that the house wasn’t messy and the window was wide open; and thus they believe that the man jumped through the opened window. As of now, they have classified the case as sudden death and the corpse was sent to Bukit Mertajam hospital for post-mortem.

Perhaps, we should wait for the police to release more information on this case. On that note, you can always call Befrienders at 603-79571306 if you think you need some help.
