It’s not wrong for kids to have fun but if what they’re doing is proven to be risky and dangerous, then maybe it’s best to take action before it’s too late.

Yesterday (24 March), a video showing not 1, not 2, but 3 children in school uniform having “the time of their lives” by sticking themselves out from the car window has gone viral on social media. The scary thing is, they seemed to be enjoying themselves despite being in a moving car.

One of them even tried doing the “Titanic” pose where she took both hands off the roof and balanced herself against the window. According to the caption on Inforoadblock Facebook post, the incident took place on 22 March around 6:30 pm near Caltex Petrol Station in Tambun, Ipoh.

The acts of these children did not only endanger themselves but also other road users. The possibilities are endless and frightening, and the driver of the car did not seem to be bothered by what was going on. You can watch the full clip below.

The police is coming soon

As expected, the dangerous acts of the children have sparked anger among the netizens who are not happy that the children were “left” endangering themselves.

“Abang PDRM is coming. The plate number is shown.”

“Even if my kid put his hand out of the window, I would’ve asked him to stop. Who knows what’s coming? A motorcycle, a lorry?”

“When you’re arrested, don’t come up with an OKU card.”

There are plenty of ways for the children to have fun but to leave them alone by endangering themselves and other road users are definitely not one of them. Their safety, as well as other road users, should be taken into account.
