What would you do to achieve your dreams? Would you save up for three years and keep your money in a bamboo tube to marry your dream girl? Or would you open up your very own coffee stall to help fund your dream of participating in an international competition?

Similarly, a 19-year-old Malaysian YouTuber and professional drummer recently revealed that she opted to spend thousands of ringgit of her earnings, in order to buy a bus on auction so that she can turn it into a mobile home.

In an interview with BERNAMA, Nur Amira Syahira said that she has finally achieved her dream of owning a mobile home.

She mentioned that she has been saving up to make the dream come true by becoming a YouTube content creator ever since she was 8-years-old.

The bus in question was a 23-seater Hino bus which she bought at an auction in January last year and has a rest area, bedroom, kitchen, fans, a generator and cargo space.

She said that it costed between RM10,000 and RM15,000. but, she did not disclose the full cost of the bus.

“I place more importance on things that can facilitate my work compared to the need to be stylish. In fact, this camper bus gives me more opportunity to spend time with my family.”

She also said that although the bus was already 19-years-old, its body and engine were still in good condition and that in fact, the modification process only took a year and was completed in December last year.

“I sought the advice of a consultant company as a reference so that all modifications were done without flouting the law and valid on the road,” she explained.

Syahira who aspires to tour the peninsula with her family in the mobile home said that she preferred a simple and neat layout, adding that she obtained much of the inspiration for the interior after watching YouTube videos.

The Penangite said that the vehicle would not only make it easier for her to travel quickly and safely but would also save on accommodation costs.

“I often travel to make content for my YouTube channel. Prior to this, I had to check-in at a hotel or rent a homestay which indeed required a huge cost.”

“Furthermore, this is the time for me to spend time with my family besides reducing the risk of getting Covid-19 which is spreading,” said Syahira who has almost 2.7 million followers on YouTube and 1.4 million on her TikTok account.

Besides having her own mobile home, Syahira says that another one of her dreams is to have her very own campsite in three years and that she is still looking for a location that is easily accessible and spacious.
