You Can Now Use Your Debit/Credit Card At Selected Highway Tolls

Did you know that you can now use your credit or debit card at selected highway tolls, using the open payment system (OPS) along side your usual Touch n’ Go, SmartTag and radio frequency identification (MyRFID).

To know, which highway tolls can be used, @fahmi_fadzil  shared this image to further help us road users to navigate through Malaysian tolls.

“Now you can use your credit or debit card to pay, not just Touch n’ Go.”

“This was promised by the Prime Minister, when answering a question posted to him by a Malaysian youth last March.”

In his thread, many expressed their delight at the announcement, with one suggesting more improvements to ease congestion at tolls.

“We should remove boom gates next.” 

Let’s hope that this move will see less congestion at tolls, and also lesser mishaps involving other methods of payments at toll booths.
