Thinking about the word ‘job’ just makes a person grumble. It’s a thing everyone has to go through in life and let’s face it, most of us don’t look forward to it.

However you won’t feel the same if you were paid to cuddle baby pandas instead! Yes, this actual job exist.

Back in 2014, the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center scoured the country to find the best Panda nanny. The lucky person who will be hired will get paid at a reasonable amount PLUS there’ll be free food and a place to stay. Anymore vacancies?

Oandas

The lucky lady who got the job is the one shown in the image above. Jealous!

Applicants who applied must be at least 22 years old, have good writing skills, basic knowledge of pandas and be able to take pictures. Oh, and they must also have an SUV.

According to the center’s organizers:

“Your work has only one mission: spending 365 days with the pandas and sharing in their joys and sorrows.

“Many people at our center do the same job, but the salary was never that high. But we want more people to pay attention to giant pandas’ protection work and participate.”

Soooo, being paid around RM11,000 a month just to cuddle with pandas is not a high salary? Well, don’t mind me while I take up the “burden” of this low-paying job then!
