The King says Malaysians have every right to be disappointed by abuse of power

In a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s Facebook page, the King stressed that the Constitution and the rule of law must always be preserved and upheld.

He also highlighted that both aspects of the Rukun Negara are vital, as they directly influence public trust in the integrity of the country’s governance and administration.

“The people have the right to feel disappointed when authorities are found to abuse their positions or engage in corruption.

“Protecting these two principles of the Rukun Negara is essential because they directly affect public confidence in the integrity of the nation’s governance and administrative institutions,” His Majesty said.
