Double parking culture is prevalent in Malaysia, especially with the solution of leaving your phone number to get the person you blocked in to call you should they need to leave their legitimate parking spot. But, what’s the point of leaving your phone number if you’re not going to pick up your phone?

Netizen, Alepdepay, took to his TikTok account to showcase an incident he witnessed, where a woman who was blocked in by a car that was double parked left a sarcastic note on the car after she called the owner 80 TIMES to move their car but to no avail.

What makes this worse is that the woman apparently needed to leave for the hospital but ended up having to leave her car behind (causing her additional parking fees) and take a e-hailing ride. This incident took place in Bangsar.

Alepdepay wrote, “Pity the woman, she ended up having to take a Grab to the hospital. She had to take a Grab and then she had to pay additional charges for the parking space because of not so smart people like this. Be strong, sister.”

He also went on to tag the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) as well as the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) in hopes that they will take action against the owner of the double parked car.

You’re probably wondering what the woman’s sarcastic note read, so here it is:

“THANK YOU. Because I have an emergency at a hospital, your black Honda car has caused me to be unable to go anywhere. Thank you for leaving your phone number but I called 80 times but didn’t receive an answer. Thank you, yeah! You’re the best,” her note read.

We genuinely hope that the owner compensated the woman for all the inconveniences they caused the woman, and that the authorities take action against them.
