A woman wearing an anime costume resembling the character ‘Kurumi Tokisaki’ was found dead after she was believed to have fallen from a condominium window in Bayan Lepas, Penang, last night (September 3).

According to a report by Kosmo!, the body of the victim, who had blonde-pinkish hair, was found by members of the public in a car parking space, on the ground floor of the housing complex at about 9:20 PM.

It is understood that the incident was noticed by residents after hearing a loud bang from the location of the incident, which was opposite a kindergarten.

“We thought there was an earthquake, but the tremor only happened once. It was a loud noise like 10 gas cylinders falling from a high place. At first, I heard a member of the public screaming. I went straight to the location of the incident and found the victim lying in a state of disrepair,” a resident of the area shared.

Residents claimed that the victim was also often spotted in cosplay, wearing a complete anime costume while carrying a doll and sitting near the elevator lobby of the building.

The woman is believed to be a resident of the condominium

They also claimed that they last saw the victim with a woman believed to be her mother, yesterday evening.

“The victim’s mother was also seen wearing an anime costume, just a different character. They do live here, but we are not sure which floor they were on,” another resident said.

The victim’s body has since been taken to the Penang Hospital Forensics Department.
