“When in Rome, do as the Romans do” KJ Responds On The “Karen” Situation In KLCC
As the nation transitions into the endemic phase, everyone should be well aware that the standard of procedures (SOPs) are meant to be adhered to under any circumstances to avoid another outbreak.
Just recently, a foreign visitor in KLCC was denied from entering the Dior boutique as she did not adhere to one of the most fundamental SOPs during this pandemic – wearing a face mask.
The incident was uploaded onto Twitter and it quickly spread like wildfire on social media. It has also sparked fury among the netizens where some of them questioned how did she even manage to enter the mall in the first place without masking up.
As some of the netizens had also mentioned the Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin and Ministry of Health (MOH), this issue has immediately gained their attention. Khairy has just taken to his Twitter account and subtly reminded everyone to wear a face mask, regardless of where they are from and the rules that were made elsewhere.
At the time of writing, the Ministry of Health (MOH) is currently getting more information from Suria KLCC Mall.
Once again, we would like to remind everyone to always mask up when in public areas. We certainly do not want another unwanted outbreak simply because some people decided to violate the rules, as reminded by Khairy himself.
Stay tuned for more updates!
