Football is not easy, especially when you are tasked at rebuilding a team with limited resources and results are just not coming, just like what coach Datuk Lim Teong Kim is made to face as Head Coach of Perak FC in the face of its unruly fans.

Well not all are like this particular fan, but our guess is this might have been a rare incident where the coach lost it and began returning the favour to this particular fan, after an opening league loss.

Angry by what was hurled at him during his post-match loss, Lim Teong Kim could be seen asking a fan to repeat what she said to him face-to-face instead of just hiding behind the stands.

Storming away, another video has since surfaced where he was seen apologising to another fan for the loss.

With the statement ‘real fans trust the process’, Lim Teong Kim was over the provocation that took place, when he said, “I apologise for losing. We were not here to lose, but to win.”

“You can see for yourself what took place.”

Giving him much needed words of encouragement, this video truly showed how the fans themselves should have acted instead of resorting to provocation.

What are your thoughts on the matter? Do we need to improve our football culture, to at least be a little more supportive of our local football scene? Share it with us in the comments section below.
