WATCH: Kind Police Officer Carries Elderly Aunty Across The Road, Gives Her RM10 For Meal

This is such a wonderful video that touched our hearts.

Recently, a video of a police officer and an old woman had gone viral and was shared on different social media platforms.

In the video, we can see a police officer helping an elderly woman who was using 2 walkers to cross the road. After crossing 1 lane, the police officer realised that her pace was too slow to cross the 2nd lane.

So, he lifted her up and crossed the road which elicited applause from bystanders. When he got to the pasar, he set her down gently and many people came to help stabilise the woman.

The aunty said that she came to the pasar for a meal and after hearing this, the police officer took out his wallet and gave her RM10 before leaving.

A video taken from another angle showed that there was another police officer who stopped the patrol car on the lane so that the elderly woman can cross safely.

According to a Facebook post by PDRM, these 2 officers are Corporal Arif Mohamed and Lance Corporal Mohd Saiful Sudirman.

This heartwarming scene took place on 16 October at Cecil Market in Penang when the 2 officers were on patrol duty.

“Their wonderful attitude while helping the elderly woman shows that the police really care for the safety of the people no matter where and when.”
