Recently, a video of a foodpanda rider helping an elderly uncle move his motorcycle that has broken down along a busy stretch of road went viral on social media.

The touching video, shared by netizen Jully Yap on Facebook, showed the foodpanda rider on his bike giving out his arm for the elderly uncle to hold on to while pushing the motorcycle slowly.

In the video, Jully can be heard explaining that the elderly uncle’s motorbike had broken down in Kepong Baru.

She said that she worried for the old man and drove up to him, offering a drive back home but he declined her offer and insisted on pushing his motorbike along the road. The elderly man attempted to push his motorbike by himself, attempting to move it safely out of the way of traffic.

Luckily, a kind foodpanda delivery rider noticed the old man struggling and did not hesitate to lend him a hand. Literally.

Stretching his arm out to the old man while he continues to keep his broken-down bike steady, the both of them pushed through slowly. The foodpanda rider balanced the weight of both the uncle’s motorbike and his own.

In the end, both men managed to successfully cross the busy stretch to the road shoulder.

The video garnered over 130,000 views, 5,600 likes and 1,800 comments, all of which netizens praised the foodpanda rider for his selflessness.

Jully added that other road users saw what was happening and did not honk at them. It never hurts to spread a little kindness, in fact, it spreads instead.
