WATCH: Burning Car At Genting Highlands Road Rolls Downhill As Road Users Try To Avoid It

Ever wondered what you would do if a burning car just came rushing at you?

Well, that’s exactly what road users heading up towards Genting Highlands had to experience, after a burning car that had stopped by the side of the road suddenly started rolling downhill.

The 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians Facebook page shared a video of the scary incident.

They wrote, “On the way up to Genting Highlands. The car was on fire (don’t know the make of the car or the reason as to why it was on fire), saw someone trying to extinguish the fire in another video but after burning excessively, the hand brake must have given way and the car went sliding downhill.”

In the video, the car could be seen heading downhill as people and other cars tried to get out of its way.

Eventually, the car hit a divider and backed up into a big car (either a van or a Vellfire), which thankfully kept the burning car from going any further down where other road users had stopped.

The video is believed to have been taken from a cable car, where people witnessed the incident from above.

 

Netizens have since expressed their gratitude to the big car that stopped the burning car.

We genuinely hope that no one was hurt in the ordeal.
