You never know how a simple gesture of kindness can make someone else’s day.

Just yesterday (10th December), Marzuki, a poor OKU food selling uncle who is often spotted selling snacks at Bukit Jambul Complex, Penang with his nephew, was moved to tears when a man by the name of Azfar Badrul, bought his ENTIRE supply of food and proceeded to give him an additional RM300 to help out his financial situation. You can watch the heartwarming video here.

When Azfar initially approached the poor uncle and his nephew with the intention of giving them the large sum of money, they kindly rejected his offer. Marzuki insisted that they weren’t charity seekers despite his disability. He said he wanted to earn an honest living with their sales.

According to Danial (Marzuki’s nephew), the duo would sell RM1-2 worth of snacks and bottled water priced at RM1 from Thursday to Sunday every week.

They start making their rounds surrounding the complex at around 5:30p.m. and stop business when they’ve sold everything, told the helpful nephew to Siakap Keli.

It was only after Afzar said that he would buy all of Marzuki’s food (totalling up to RM59), that the uncle complied to the caring man’s offer. Azfar then proceeded to distribute the snacks to surrounding passersby.

But that wasn’t all! Already moved by the generous man’s kind actions, the uncle-nephew duo were completely overwhelmed when Azfar took out an additional RM300 and insisted that the pair keep the money for their finances.

In the video, the two can be seen embracing each other tightly as they were moved to tears by the unexpected gesture of kindness.

Many netizens were touched when they saw the video. Some praised the uncle for his genuine business while others commented on how encouraging it was to see the youth of today rise up to help out those in need.

Kudos to Azfar for spreading the love! What do you guys think of this?
