Businesses are constantly coming up with services and products to improve and make people’s lives more convenient. But, where do we draw the line between convenience and laziness?

A motorised baby stroller, that doesn’t require anyone to push it as it’s able to move on its own and follow a parent from behind thanks to a censor, is now drawing flak as netizens believe parents who buy it are lazy.

TikTok account, AK Snoop, showcased the stroller while sharing, “The first baby stroller in Malaysia that doesn’t require you to push it. It will just follow you as you walk.”

In the video, the baby stroller could be seen following a woman and moving on its own as she walks around a mall.

At some points, the baby stroller would stop and divert itself to avoid passersby while the woman constantly stopped to turn around to check on it.

Malaysians: If you’re going to be lazy, don’t have the baby.

Many believe that parents should push their strollers in front of them for safety purposes, and shared their thoughts on parents who buy such strollers needing to be more responsible and less lazy.

“They want babies but they’re lazy to push the strollers, this is so infuriating to me.”

Stroller 2

“We’ve become lazy to push strollers. Later on, we’ll even become lazy to pick up our babies.”

Stroller 3

“It’ll be easy to kidnap babies if this is the case. An empty stroller will be following behind us.”

Stroller 4

“I am more willing to push (the stroller) or carry (my child) as children are more valuable than the stroller. A lost stroller can be replaced, a (lost) child can’t.”

Based on a comment by AK Snoop, this stroller isn’t technically available in Malaysia YET but is already going for a price of RM5,999.
